You can get $20 for wearing a mask at this Casino in Nevada

In an attempt to break the chain of Covid-19 spread, Caesars Entertainment Casino in Las Vegas is offering $20 to every person wearing a mask on their gaming floors.

You can certainly get lucky if you game on the floors of the Caesars Entertainment Casino with a mask on. The Strip, an operator of five recently open up hotel-cum-casinos in Las Vegas, has launched a promotional campaign to motivate its customers to wear masks inside the casinos. If their team finds you wearing a mask during their occasional visits, they will instantly give you $20 for gambling.

Recently on a weekend, their promotional team walked through the five hotels in the chain – Paris, Caesars Palace, Harrah’s, The Linq, and Flamingo to search for people walking or gaming with their masks on. During their visit, 375 guests wearing masks were given $7,500 as promised.

As per the Reno Gazette Journal, this promotion is only applicable to the members who’ve signed up for Caesar Rewards. Nonmember customers wearing a mask will be exempted from the benefits. However, the chance of signing up for getting this free money is available for everyone in their casinos.

When inquired about the last date of this promotion, the PR specialist of Caesar’s Entertainment Gia Silvaggio emphasized on the obscurity of the decision. She said that the promotions would stop by the time wearing masks publicly becomes mandatory in Las Vegas.

This comes in at a time when the state officials in Nevada are forcing casinos across the state to lure their visitors into wearing masks. Two weeks after the casinos in the state re-opened post-COVID-19 lockdown, the Nevada Gaming Control Board renewed its health and safety policy for casinos across the state. One of the updated policies requires casino visitors to wear a mask for games that are barrier-free.
